Board Art Benefit

This looks like a very interesting art show where surfboard shapers and artists are teamed up to create art on foam and wooden boards as well.

Two hollow wood boards from Paul Jensen, one from Danny Hess, and one from Humboldt County's Yohei Shiraishi, will be on display. These boards are works of art before the artist even raises a brush. There will also be a wood alaia made of Hemlock Fir that was scavenged from the demolished El Capitan hotel in Santa Barbara by Goleta's John Birchim. Should be an incredible show to see these boards in person!
