Through collaboration and sharing we develop the processes we use to build boards. There are no right or wrong ways of doing it but there are certainly some a lot less complicated. How you go about it depends on lots of things, we all know. Time , tools , skills , money , space are some of the challenges we face. We are all tested by the journey in our own way. So to share and to open up to others is a very rewarding thing to do and this is very rare in some circles. But I am proud to say we have a very healthy, open culture amongst the board builders that I know. Sergi had been building boards in Spain for some time and came out to Australia to be a guest spaeker at our wooden board day a few years back. He went home with a head full of new ideas and ways of doing things. He has experimented and developed a process that suits him , as shown above. He has been chasing flex and an eco way of building boards and has advanced the process on the way. Tom Wegner in Noosa has been on the same path along with Felipe Siebert in Brazil. It is great to see that we can all be in different corners of the world and helping each other out through a mutual respect and understanding. Thanks guys , nice to be a part of it.
Keep up the good work and remember - Keep It Simple.
